Media Literacy Towards Youth Social Inclusion - Kick-off meeting

projectslogo.mindthegaps“Media Literacy Towards Youth Social Inclusion” Kick-off Transnational Project Meeting took place in Porto, Portugal on 5th and 6th of March 2020, where all project partners actively participated in the establishment of the project’s map for the next 2 years. The meeting was hosted by UPORTO/CIIE in the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Porto.

The meeting started with a welcome note from the coordinator UPORTO/CIIE, followed by a short presentation of all participants, and their organisations. Further overview of the project focused on major operational issues and the necessary steps for the creation of the first intellectual output – Youth Media literacy promising practices handbook. The IO1 is a digital handbook about media literacy and critical thinking practices both in formal and non-formal education and training activities among young people. It will contain European shared resources suggestions, initiatives samples, activates and reflection based on field experience.

The project Why Youth Work is Good is coming to an end. What it leaves behind?
Young people are the future of each country and also of the European Union and the World. The future prosperity depends on how they are prepared not only academically but also socially.

“Development of a Supportive Framework for Young Roma People Entrepreneur” Kick-off Transnational Project Meeting was held in Bucharest, Romania from 16th-17th January 2020. The meeting was hosted by REDI and all project partners actively participated in the development map for the next two years of the project.

projectslogo.keepmesafeThe second project meeting was held on 5 and 6 December in Marseille at the EuroCircle office.
On the first day of the meeting, the results so far were presented, namely a summary report based on national studies, focus groups. There are many different types of problems in the partner countries, as well as common problems for all. In some countries, the legal definitions are not clear and complete, there are clear indications that many are misunderstood or misinterpreted.
