Name: S.M.I.L.E II – Support Mobility through International Learning Experience

This project is designed for an Italian volunteers to come to Bulgaria for 6 months and gain international experience in the field of volunteering and working with children, elderly people and people with disabilities.

Aims:

  1. Working in the office of Know and Can Association on projects for social integration
  2. Working in the daily care canter of Know and Can with children by implementing creative activities and Italian language learning
  3. Working with children with disabilities in Blagoveshetnie center (a part of Caritas- Bulgaria)
  4. Working in Milosardie- a center for elderly people on social activities for elderly people.
  
  • International learning experience for the volunteer in the field of social work: improved skills in working with children, elderly people and people with disabilities
  • Popularization of voluntary work among young people in the partner countries
