On March 18, 2021, Know and Can Association took part in an online partnership meeting within the EKS project - Entrepreneurship is the key to success. According to the original plan, the event was planned to take place in sunny Valencia, but the continuing complicated international situation unfortunately thwarted the plans of the partners.
Thanks to the active participation and professionalism of all partners, the progress of the project was discussed in detail during the meeting, as well as the following steps for the consortium were discussed in detail:
The ParentBank partnership is announcing the launching of the online training program for vulnerable single parents that will aim at building up their numeracy, entrepreneurial and digital skills (including through the use of digital technologies), in order to foster their employability and socio-educational and personal development (which will also enhance their social inclusion), through a Project-Based Learning methodology.
Alongside the intensive work on finalizing the beta version of the simulation game, the EKS project partners are almost ready with the development of the second project product – the EKS Didactic Handbook. While frequently the content of some training materials, curriculums and textbooks could be perceived as dry and old-fashioned, the EKS Handbook creates quite the opposite feeling!
It is an attractive, appealing and useful educational tool for both learners and trainers which main aim is to support and improve their experience in using the game during the entrepreneurship learning process. On one hand, it will help the players to dive deeper in the world of entrepreneurial skills and their importance and on another – it will familiarize the adult trainers with the gamification as a didactic tool and will support them in applying the game in individual or group settings.
