The project “Youth Leaders Partnership” was held in Bulgaria in the form of a training of youth leaders and youth workers from 5 youth organizations from Portugal, Hungary, Italy, Turkey and Bulgaria.

The aim of the project was during 8 days 20 youth leaders and youth workers to acquire new knowledge and social skills, to transfer good practices, experience and innovative models in the sphere of youth activities, as an answer to the new social and professional challenges.

 

The goals of the project were reached. It aimed at improving the competences of the participants and improving the quality of work of their organizations, transferring good practices, knowledge and experience in the sphere of youth activities, developing new youth projects with focus on the social inclusion of young people and fight against poverty.

During the training variety of working methods from the sphere of non-formal education were implemented: interactive trainings and role games, discussions, workshops, presentations, work in smagroups. The youths had the chance to present and share the common and the different in their experience, values, beliefs and expectations.

The working methods of non-formal character were chosen in a way so that they guaranteed maximum effectiveness during the training, answered the needs of the participants and motivated them in the process of learning. The main idea was taking cases and expeirence from the real life of the participants and work on them during the training.

The methods included: original presentations, role playing games, training in small groups, interactive trainings, discussions, brainstorming, icebreakers, teamwork, energizers and others.
