After the successful end of project Future Stands in Youth Hands (2013-3362/ 001-001 YT7 CAAP7), which was funded by Sub-Action 3.2 — “Cooperation with countries other than the neighbouring countries of the European Union” of the Youth in Action programme, the work related to the creation of one of the main project results- the Storybook containing information about the project and photos of the training workshops- also finished.
Youth in Action
The final partner meeting and seminar under project “Future Stands in Youth Hands” (2013-3362/ 001-001 YT7 CAAP7), which is funded by Sub-Action 3.2 — “Cooperation with countries other than the neighbouring countries of the European Union” of the Youth in Action programme, were held between the 22-nd and 24-th of October 2014 in Alentejo, Portugal.
From the 22nd to the 26th of July 2014 in Sao Tome and Principe (Africa) was held the third International Workshop within the frame of the project „FUTURE STANDS IN YOUTH HANDS (H4F - HANDS 4 FUTURE)“ under the Youth in Action Program, in which Know and Can Association is a partner. The topic of the workshop was the Agro-industry and Environment. The youngsters who participated in the workshop were between 18 and 27 years old. They presented some specific topics in this area in their countries and acquired new knowledge in connection to the agro-industry and the practices, which help to protect the environment.
The Second National Training Workshop under project "Future Stands in Youth Hands" (2013-3362/ 001-001 YT7 CAAP7), in which Know and Can Association is a partner, took place on the 12-th and 13-th of June 2014 at First English Language School in Sofia. The topic of the workshop was: "Handicraft and Environment".
In connection with the project „FUTURE STANDS IN YOUTH HANDS (H4F - HANDS 4 FUTURE)“ under the Youth in Action Program, in the period between the 4-th and the 7-th of February 2014, an international workshop in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) with first level participants was held. The main topic of the workshop was the establishment of an youth organization.

The second international workshop under project “Future stands in youth hands”(2013-3362/ 001- 001 YT7 CAAP7) was held from the 9-th to the 12-th of April 2014 in Mindelo, Cape Verde. The project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission, Action 3.2- “Cooperation with Other Countries of the World”.
The three month voluntary service of the volunteers under project “The volunteering- new horizons” (BG13/A2/458/R3) realized by Know and Can
Association together with Consejo de la Juventud de la Rioja, Spain and Dacorum Council for Voluntary Service, UK and financed through Action 2- EuropeanVoluntary Service of the Youth in Action Programme, has successfully ended.
During their service the 2 volunteers participated in the following activities:
Between the 25-th and 28-th of March 2014 the first national workshop under project "Future stands in youth hands" took place. It happened at the territory of 2-nd school "Acad. Emillian Stanev". Students from the First English Language School and Second English Language School "Thomas Jefferson" participated in it.
The project is implemented together with organisations from Brasil, Portugal, Cape Verde and Sao Tome and Principe.
