If you have an interest in short films, we invite you to a youth film festival where we will present 10 films created by talented and inspiring young people from Bulgaria on various social and societal topics. The festival will take place on January 3, 2024 in Hotel Borika, Chepelare. And now continue reading to find out what films the youth have prepared.

Inspiring Youth and Building Community: The film tells the story of a young woman who overcomes various limitations in the Bulgarian business and living environment with the strength of her entrepreneurial spirit and love of country. See his story through the challenges of creating and growing his own business, supporting his community, hometown, friends and family. See a story of how good life in Bulgaria can be if you have a sense of purpose and a desire to grow.
The green breath of Sofia: See Sofia from a different angle. Some say it is very dark, dusty and unwelcoming, but for many of us it is the most beloved city, full of laughter, happy moments and beautiful places. In this film, you'll see a little bit of everything: from abandoned structures to magical places you never knew existed. The film will make you think about whether we can look at something one-sidedly or whether it is better to see it in its colourful and multi-layered way. "The Green Breath of Sofia will leave you breathless.
Threads of Tradition: In this film, the main character Srebra talks about how her hometown - Chepelare - inspires her to make art and create. In the heart of the Rhodope Mountains, she finds inspiration in the beauty of nature and the spirit of Bulgarian traditions. Her advice to young people is "Let inspiration guide you, find your style and never be discouraged!"

But with great power comes great responsibility. Amidst the symphony of colours, we often find dissonance. Ugly signs sully the urban landscape. It is a reminder that even free expression must be guided by a sense of aesthetics. Look at the masterpieces that adorn Sofia's walls. Murals that tell stories, colors that dance, and shapes that captivate. This is art that soars. Behind every stroke is a story. Each piece is a chapter in the collective narrative of this city. It is a testament to the creativity that flourishes in its streets.
