Name: Keep me safe: supporting youth peer developmnet tackling sexual abuse Sexual abuse has significant detrimental effects on young people, leading to long-term detrimental affects that cause social exclusion in terms of negative impacts on mental and emotioanl health , development and wel being, throughout key parts of their lives with severe knock-on results. Through the development of youth workers and young people, keep me safe will develop a peer-to-peer approach in addressing and raising awareness and preventing sexual abuse amongst youth. Тhe keep me safe will increase youth worker understanding, awareness and skill sets, ensuring they have the knowledge both in safeguarding and in the development of a youth-led peer-to-peer startegy in addressing sexual violence issues experienced by young people. The keep me safe project will achieve this through the creation of three innovation intellectual outputs designed to increase the youth sector knowledge, awareness and civic participation in addressing sexual abuse amongst 13 to 18 year olds. |

Peer training with platform use under project Keep Me Safe is taking place at the moment in Lom, Bulgaria.
An event to disseminate the results of the KMS project took place on May 22 in the building of the Dr. P Beron Language High School in Kyustendil.
We are happy to announce that the work on the project continues and the COVID pandemic can't stop us!
Due to the limited opportunities for contacts due to quarantine, the Association used every opportunity to expand the geography of youth workers in the country working on the project.
