An event to disseminate the results of the KMS project took place on May 22 in the building of the Dr. P Beron Language High School in Kyustendil.
The event had 24 participants as well as three presenters. Among the participants were 5 trained youth workers, as well as three from the host city, attended by 4 pedagogical advisors from schools in the region, as well as school psychologists. Special guests of the event were the staff of three "Blue Rooms", who took an active part in the practical activities with cases from the present, some of them well known to the rest of the audience, current, discussed and aroused serious public interest.
The event took place in the afternoon, as part of a regional conference on the problems of child and domestic violence, as a result of the Kovid 19 pandemic and became a natural continuation of the findings in figures.
The President of the Association Rumyana Shalamanova presented the project in general - with its ideas and goals, the results achieved so far, to our joy, many of them are no longer just on paper. The first two intellectual products were also briefly presented.
In the second part, the participants were divided into groups and had the opportunity to get acquainted with the products of the project, this part was led by Verzhinia Traykova and Ivo Dimitrov. In each group there was a youth worker, a pedagogical advisor, a psychologist and a representative of the Blue Rooms. The main focus was on early detection of signs of violence, commenting on ways of prevention and active action to be taken in established cases. You have discussions from different points of view and different approaches. The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the mobile application, appreciating its ease of use and quality information with quick access.
The event lasted more than the planned 4 hours and ended with a session - questions and answers. As a matter of fact, this format of various groups had made it possible to answer most of the questions within the groups, and the session was more like a summary session.
Despite the day off, all participants expressed their satisfaction with the participation and willingness to share with colleagues the results of the project, as well as to actively apply what they have learned.
