On 23rd and 24th September 2021 in Thessaloniki, Greece the partners of UPthEM project finally managed to gather together in person for the final project meeting after almost 2 years of online discussions. The event was kindly hosted by STIMMULI, the Greek partner in the project.
The meeting was attended by representatives of all organizations. Due to the still complicated epidemic situation regarding international travelling and existing restrictions in many countries, the meeting was organized in a hybrid way with two partners participating online.
The main focus of the partners meeting was the overview of the work done during the last two years as well as the produced products. The participants discussed in details the UPthEM Training programme and The Audio-visual guide with successful stories. The guide for piloting of the training programme at national level was presented by ARDM Danube and agreed by the partners. The final version of the video platform was presented by IO2 leader CWEP and agreed with the partnership. The final touches of IO1 and IO2 were distributed and finalized.
The biggest part of the first working day was dedicated to the planning of the organization and implementation of the LTTA event foreseen just 10 days after the meeting – from 4th till 7th October in Granada, Spain. The partners presented their ideas on activities and implementation, discussed the participants, agenda, activities and distributed tasks and obligations.
Other very important focus of the event were the presentations of the multiplier events planned in the project application. The specifics concerning the organization of those events were presented in details by the project coordinator – aim, participants, organization, topics to be covered, activities, logistical arrangements and last but not least – the required documentation needed for reporting.
Other important issues that were discussed during the meeting were related to the technical implementation of the project – documents needed for the preparation of the final report; remaining dissemination activities; evaluation and quality assurance. Important deadlines and tasks were discussed and set in order to have a clear and precise working plan for the final stages of the project. The partners also dedicated a session to discuss the project dissemination, sustainability and post-development. Some draft ideas for continuation and improvement of the products were presented and the partners will come to them after the start of the next year.
