The short-term joint staff training event was organized in the period 4th-7th October 2021 in Granada, Spain hosted by the Spanish project partner GrowthCoop. The training gathered 20 participants - staff of all partner institutions (15 participants f2f and 5 online).
The event was with total duration of 4 training days, 6 hours activities per day (24 working hours). The general objective of the training was to gather adult trainers and coaches and to familiarize them with the UPthEM training program and teach them how to deliver the pilot edition of the UPthEM programme at national level.
The training was led by trainers experienced in adult training. Four trainers (one per organization) were equally involved and each trainer held one day training, as follows:
• GROWTHCOOP (training opportunities and entrepreneurship solutions);
• Know and Can (creative thinking and building self-esteem);
• Stimmuli (Social Empowerment)
• ADES (green entrepreneurship and sustainable development).
The main training activities wereas follows:
- Day 1 – Responsible partner - Stimmuli
Presentations on the role of the trainer-coach and the specific learning needs and preferences of disadvantaged adults; tools and techniques for trust-building, social empowerment and motivation of learners.
Practical activities: activities during which trainers take the role of their future learners to see learning from their perspective.

Presentations on UPthEM learning outcomes framework and the importance of trainings; fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
Practical activities: practicing models of planning entrepreneurial activities.

Presentations on the creative thinking and building self-esteem activities.
Practical activities: learners enter a demo version of simulations, prototyping business ideas and presenting them in front of the other participants.

The implementation of the LTTA was a success and all participants were enthusiastic about what they achieved under the Upthem project, while the people who attended the LTTA but were not involved in the implementation of the project found the results and the training material developed particularly interesting and useful, while the videos were said to be able to create an enhanced positive impact and provide inspiration. According to the answers given in the evaluation questionnaire, the majority of the participants were adult educators, and the rest were trainers. In addition, respondents stated that the LTTA was relevant to their overall background, the expected objectives and desired outcomes were achieved, the duration was sufficient, the programme was clearly defined, the venue and technical equipment were appropriate. Some of the comments were that despite the online participation, the process was quite interesting, and the participants learned many new things, while others said that the LTTA was well organised. Last but not least, the majority of respondents said that either all or part of the Upthem project material is going to be used in order to enrich their own or other people's knowledge.
