Know and Can Association organized two informative seminars for dissemination of the results under project “Profession Future” (BG051PO001-7.0.07-0067-C0001), which is being realized with the financial support of Operational Programme Development of Human Resources, co-funded by the EU through the European Social Fund (Scheme for providing gratuitous financial support- “Without borders- component 1”- phase 2).
The seminars were held on the 3-rd of December 2014 in Sofia and the 5-th of December 2014 in Smolyan. Members of the Regional inspectorates for education in Sofia and Smolyan took part in both of the events. The participants in the seminars were associate partners under the project, principals, deputy principals, pedagogical advisers, specialists in career counseling and non-formal education. Apart from the informative seminar for dissemination of the project results, a meeting with stakeholders was organized in Smolyan.
The main aim of the project is the increasing of human resources and the quality of the services that are offered in the field of vocational guidance and career counseling. Also the project aims at the adducing of these services to the requirements of the modern labour market. The implemented activities and results of the project were presented during the seminars and the participants received dissemination materials and some of the project products (a CD with an Electronic Guide for career counselors). Some of the participants in the training for vocational guidance in Bulgaria and the study visit in the United Kingdom shared the acquired experience and their impressions of the project and commented on the products and the achieved results.
