Project “Profession Future”
The project is funded by Operational program “Development of Human Resources”, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund of the European Union
On the 1-st of July 2013 project “Profession Future” (number BG051PO001-7.0.07-0067-C0001) started. It is being implemented with the financial help of Operational program “Development of Human Resources”, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund of the European Union (Grant scheme- “Without Borders- Component 1”- phase 2). The duration of the project is 18 months and the activities will be realized in Sofia (Bulgaria) and Hemel Hempstead (the United Kingdom).
The beneficiary of the project is Know and Can Association (Bulgaria). Partner organizations in the project are Council for Voluntary Service Dacorum (the United Kingdom), the Regional educational inspectorate in Sofia and the Regional educational inspectorate in Smolyan.
“Profession Future” project aims to improving human resources and enhancing the quality of the offered services by stimulating, providing and offering of modern educational methods and lifelong learning in the sphere of career counseling, vocational guidance and business communications in accordance with contemporary requirements of the labour market.
The activities set in the project aim to transfer an innovative module of career counseling and vocational guidance from the United Kingdom, as well as of good practices for improving the quality of services delivered by the career advisors and specialists in non-formal education in Bulgaria. The activities will help in enhancing the qualifications of career specialists in aspect to use modern tools for vocational guidance and introducing of innovative models for development. The project activities will also facilitate better training and adaptation of young people at the labour market in connection to finding suitable professional field for realization.
