A two half days meeting, hosted by the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli (IOR) in the historical venue and the Research Center, opened the ACTLIFE project. 20 representatives from the seven European partners involved in the project attended the meeting and actively cooperated to better frame actions and outcome as well as setting the project agenda.
Know and can Association starts working on ACTLIFE project which is focused on the development and dissemination across Europe of ACTLIFE protocol aimed to the secondary and tertiary prevention of osteoporosis consequences through physical activities. In particular the project aims to deal with bone mineral density and fear of falling in people with osteoporosis.
