Wе are happy to welcome Jean and Yemi in Know and Can Association. What are their fears and expectations? Here is what they told us:
"We are very happy to be here and do voluntary activities with elderly people and children. Our main expectations are to see the Bulgarian way of living and to learn a little Bulgarian language. We would love to help children to be more creative and have fun. We would also like to help in different activities that will improve the quality of elderly people's lives. We want to improve our social skills and gain knowledge about living in a foreign country. So far, we have just 1 fear- the language barrier- we hope we will be able to communicate with everyone in English as we don't know Bulgarian."
We are sure their voluntary service will be just great.
