Project Make a Difference- here is what Cassandre shared with us!

EN european solidarity corps logo cmyk 1Cassandre has been in Bulgaria for a few months and we would like to share what she told us about herself.

 

Tell us about yourself- where you are from, what have you studied/or study, what are your hobbies and interests?


My name is Cassandre Mercier, I come from France (Toulouse), I’m studying private law. I love cinema, cooking, doing yoga, travel and meet new cultures/people, go to theater, listen music, watching good movies/series, read, and always discover new things.


What is your motivation to take part in this project? Why did you decide to take part in it?


After my degree, I really wanted to do something different before continue in a master. My university used to be quite close minded in my opinion and I wanted to change my atmosphere. Being usefull, discover what I really want to do and travel. I like so much kids, in France my little brothers are my whole life, so working with children from another countries that I don’t know was really interesting for me.


Which are the main things you would like to learn from this project?


I would like to learn to be autonomn, be able to take decisions by my own and lead a project (in this case my activities) and also be creative to make the children happy.

What kind of voluntary activities would be interesting for you and you would like to take part in?


I really like outside activities, especially because now the weather is better I would like to organise some stuffs outside (like little walk in the mountains or forest, going to see the horses/monkeys, doing bike.


What are your expectations from this project?


I hope that at the end I will be proud of my job and had create a real link with the people here. I also hope that I could be able to have real conversations in Bulgarian.


Which are your fears from this project?


My fears are to haven’t made a good job and didn’t being useful.


What are your expectations from Know and Can Association?


To provide me the necessary help.
