We are happy to announce that the MicroVET project was shared among wide audience during the networking event- Development and Networking for a Training Evolution, organized by Škola Dante, which took place on January 11th and 12th 2024 in Opatija, Croatia.
The event was dedicated to enhancing the expertise and capacity of education stakeholders both nationally and internationally. Through collaborative efforts, our shared objective was to fortify partnerships and elevate the standards of the entire education sector. By fostering meaningful collaboration, we established robust, high-quality systems that will benefit education on a global scale.
The project was presented during the second day of the event by Rumyana Shalamanova- Chairperson of Know and Can, in front of representatives of educational institutions, NGOs and people interested and working in the field of education.
The aim of the activities during the second day, including the presentation of the MicroVET project, was to connect professionals from different organizations across Europe with the purpose of developing project ideas that will enable the participants to support their local communities as well as encourage innovation, interaction, and the establishment of a quality assurance system in their national education systems.
The main features of the project that were presented by Mrs. Shalamanova from Know and Can were as follows:
• Methodology for the development of microVET courses linked to micro-credentials;
• Framework for micro-credential ambassadors as a transit to the micro-credential digital era through the assignment of the micro-credential ambassador role to staff members.
• MicroVET courses that will be freely available through the microVET Repository.
• MicroVET Repository - a fully accessible, open online space to host the microVET courses and encourage interaction among users.
• The pan-European alliance for micro-credentials: the EU alliance for micro-credentials will be based on mutual support and commitment towards spreading the micro-credential approach.
The MicroVET project received very positive feedback as the participants in the event stated it is very useful not only for their professional lives but for their local communities as well as the communities on national, European and international levels.
Stay tuned for more updates!
