On 13th of November 2018 at the main hall of the Regional Department of Education Sofia-city took place Cascade Training under the project Math & Motivation. 26 teachers from 18 different schools participated. According the program, the Training was held in three parts: theoretical and practical.
Firstly, trainer Mr. Milen Baldzhev presented project in general, the aims, the outputs so far and the activities (former and following). After that another trainer, Mr. Kamen Radev introduced the Methodology of Collaborative Learning in brief and its practical model widely. During the second session trainers: Mrs. Lidia Gavrailova and Mrs. Ralitsa Voynova opened first questions and answers session about the Methodology and its practical application in educational process. The third session was practical and was dedicated to show the application of the methodology in real. The participants were divided on four groups with trainers Mr. Kamen Radev- senior expert in natural science, Mrs. Petya Ivanova - senior expert in natural science, Mrs. Lidia Gavrailova - senior expert in maths, and Mrs. Ralitsa Voynova - senior expert in computer science. The four groups were asked to create lesson plans under the Collaborative Methodology Model as well as to provide some good practices. At the closing part of the training another questions and answers session was held as well as discussion and debate for receiving a professional feedback on the methodology, any suggestions and possibilities of its implementation in classes.
