S4B meeting in Spain

projectslogo.s4bThe picturesque city of Granada, Spain, played host to the second project partnership meeting for the S4B project, held on June 2 and 3, 2022. Thirteen dedicated attendees representing partner organizations from across Europe convened to advance the goals of the project.

The meeting commenced with a warm hospitality of Growth Coop, the hosting organization, who welcomed participants to Granada and was followed by comprehensive review of the activities carried out by each partner country within the framework of the first project result, "Discovering the Way." National focus groups, a vital component of this phase, provided a thorough understanding of the challenges educators faced during the pandemic and remote learning. Each partner presented the methodology and outcomes of their focus groups, culminating in the compilation of a final national list featuring the 12 pivotal soft skills crucial for effective digital learning. Partners also presented draft versions of the skill descriptions and content.

A practical workshop engaged all participants in the development of a self-reflective online test. This innovative tool is poised to assess the current proficiency level of the identified 12 soft skills, a pivotal component of the project's innovative approach.

The second day was dedicated to delving deeper into the second project result, "Walking the Pathway." Growth Coop led the presentation, providing detailed insights into this didactic tool designed to bolster educators and staff in their journey towards acquiring and refining soft skills essential for a digital pedagogical environment. Partners collaboratively strategized, establishing a concrete work-plan, delineating activities, and setting deadlines for content development.

The second day also witnessed a focus on administrative and management facets of project implementation. Financial aspects, reporting guidelines, and necessary documentation for interim reporting were discussed. Future dissemination activities were outlined, accompanied by clear deadlines and tasks.

The second S4B project meeting in Granada marked another significant stride towards revolutionizing education. As the project advances, it promises to equip educators with the skills needed to navigate the digital learning landscape with confidence and proficiency.
