Official start of 4 Creativities project

4 creativities logoBasic skills of different degrees of complexity are becoming increasingly important to enable full participation in all aspects of modern life. Deficits of basic skills (literacy, math&science, etc.) result in dropping out from school of young people and in consequence, their bad situation at the labour market, poverty and social exclusion.
The EU’s plan for tackling early school leaving aims to reduce the average drop-out rate to below 10% by 2020. To give their contribution to this ambitious goal, eight organisations (schools and NGOs) from 4 EU countries (Bulgaria, Ireland, Romania and Spain) developed the idea for the project “4 Creativities” (№2019-1-BG01-KA201-062354).

The aim of this Erasmus+ project is to improve the teachers’ abilities to generate a creative education, leading to the creation of students who are able to think, analyse and solve daily problems. By improving the teaching practice we aim to enrich the current environment in schools in Europe by means of incorporating new methodologies, experiences and knowledge in the formal educational system. 4 Creativities Start news

During the next 24 months the partners will combine their efforts and strengths to develop a compendium of 24 creative classroom activities aiming to boost the interest and motivation of students to learn and acquire lifelong learning skills. The activities will be grouped into four main categories, each one corresponding to four different types of creativity, namely: mathematical creativity, linguistic creativity, scientific creativity and artistic creativity.
