Second international workshop under project “Future stands in youth hands”(2013-3362/ 001- 001 YT7 CAAP7)
The second international workshop under project “Future stands in youth hands”(2013-3362/ 001- 001 YT7 CAAP7) was held from the 9-th to the 12-th of April 2014 in Mindelo, Cape Verde. The project is financed by the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission, Action 3.2- “Cooperation with Other Countries of the World”.
2 youth workers from each partner country took part in the workshop. Its topic was: “Handicraft and Environment”. Two innovative approaches for the creation of products of recycled materials were presented to the participants. Two experienced trainers assisted the youth workers during the whole workshop and guided them in the implementation of the activities. The trainees were separated into two groups. The first group was exercising in the production of jewellery, decorations and dishes from recycled plastics. The second group learned how to use recycled paper in order to elaborate postcards, posters, leaflets, etc. Both groups were changing their roles and thus each of the participants received the opportunity to acquire both techniques.
In parallel with the workshop the second project partner meeting was held. During it partners discussed the development of project activities and the achievement of its goals.
