The project “Social Youth Volunteering” provides an opportunity for exchange of good practices and experience among 33 young people with entrepreneurial thinking from Turkey, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Italy and Bulgaria, who are willing to help their peers in social isolation due to unemployment and addictions by providing voluntary service as an instrument for effective influence.
The project aims at exchanging information and ideas about the opportunities for young entrepreneurs and creation of volunteer groups for prevention and help of youths in risk of social isolation. The main accent is on creation of new knowledge and skills of the participants in order the capacity of their organizations to be increased, as well as improved quality, diversification of their work and gaining knowledge and experience in the sphere of youth voluntary service to be achieved.
Different methods from the sphere of non-formal education will be used: interactive role playing games, case solutions, analysis of real life stories, discussions, work in groups. Young people will have the chance to create forum theatre plays based on real life stories, to share their experience, values, beliefs and expectations.
