A training course was held from October 31st to November 4th 2016 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The course was dedicated to organization of trainings and skills every educator and trainer should have. The course was carried out by 3 trainers from Know and Can Association. 10 civil servants from Middle Black Sea Development Agency- OKA (Samsun, Turkey) took part in it. The training was a part from project OKA is Empowering the Adult Education Team which is financed by Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 1. The training was made up by lectures, seminars, workshops, discussions and games.
The main topics which were included in the training were:
- Fundamentals of adult education: methods and techniques which can be applied, ways of communication with the participants in trainings;
- Organisation and design of a training: types of trainings, evaluation of trainings, reporting of trainings, selection of participants and trainers in a training;
- Presentation skills and techniques: used language, attractiveness of the presentation, body language;
- Communication skill and techniques: listening, feedback, constructive criticism, body language, ways of asking questions, ways of giving and following instructions, ways of communication;
- Methods of working in an organization: time management, stress management, leadership, team work, forming a work team;
The training was successful and finished with presentations made by the participants who showed what they have learned. All of the participants got Europass certificates.
