The main project objective is to enhance digital literacy and celebrate cultural heritage in schools through the creation of animated shorts and use them in educational contexts. The specific objectives are to foster innovations in school education, empower educators and students, promote students’ civic engagement and contribute to a lasting impact on education, historical heritage and cultural appreciation in Europe. The activities include the development of a digital toolkit (for teachers and students) explaining how to develop animated short movies, teacher training course and webinar sessions so that teachers can help their students develop the films and use them didactically, and the creation of 40 animated shorts exploring European and local cultural heritage. A virtual animation festival will showcase the best productions, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and civic participation. |
