From 20th to 23th November 2017 in Sofia the first training for NEETs under the COMP-Pass project was held. It turned out that despite the numerous preliminary contacts, meetings and conversations for explaining the nature of the content and benefits of such training for the target group, very few of the previously confirmed participants came and attended the training. The training started with seven, but ended with 6 people. Some of them were from a minority ethnic group outside the capital living in small remote area.

От 2-ри до 6-ти октомври 2017 в рамките на обмена на добри практики по проекта QAA – Достоен и Активен живот в трета възраст, представители на партньорските организации от Латвия, Литва, Великобритания, България, Италия и Испания бяха в гостоприемната организация Социален Иновационен Фонд в Каунас, Литва. В групата имаше и нови лица освен вече добре познатите лица. Домакините предложиха богата програма съчетаваща освен примери на добри практики и социална програма, запознаваща със забележителностите, историята и културата на Литва.

One of the biggest challenges in the educational system in Europe nowadays, is the early school leaving of students in V-VII grades. Coming out of primary school the level of demotivation across pupils in this educational stage has been steadily rising. The long term negative consequences from this trend are the risk of early school leaving, isolation and low educational achievements.
