Quality Active Ageing - project timeline

The Quality Active Ageing project aims will be achieved over a 30 month period through the seven partners each hosting a short-term joint staff training event, developing collaborative networks/ approaches and the creation of a Good Practice Guide on How Learning Contributes to Active Ageing.

  • Seven short-term joint staff training events with 84 mobilities plus local participants.
  • Approximate 28 staff undertaking mobilities (each more than one) have increased skills and knowledge of strategies to engage learners.
  • All partners report an increased level of quality within their provision and are able to quote practical examples of improvements.
  • Seven training event reports will be published outlining the programme, learning objectives and outcomes, identified good practice and participant feedback/ quotes.
  • Preparing and publishing the Good Practice Guide on How Learning Contributes to Active Ageing report- which will include two examples from each of the seven partners and available through partner websites and in paper format etc.
  • Partners have developed a strong team approach and transnational learning and identify two further project opportunities for further collaboration.

Through the role as host, partners will add value through building their status with other local stakeholders through their engagement in the project timetable. The events will be an important contributor and springboard to the creation of the Good Practice Guide. The added value is through enabling experts to meet, to exchange views and contribute added quality and dimensions to the content of the publication.
